DR. SAVE HEALTH SANITARIUM & SERVICE MISSIONARY CENTER ✨🌿
From the Streets to a Home — One Mission, One Calling📍 Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu, India
A Faith-Based Home of Healing, Dignity & Lifetime Care
1. PROJECT OVERVIEW – ONE CONTINUOUS MISSION
Dr. Save Health Sanitarium & Service Missionary Center is one unified, God-led mission—not two separate projects.
It is a single calling fulfilled in two stages:
Compassion on the Streets
Care in a Permanent Home
The heart, purpose, and mission remain unchanged. What began as street ministry has matured into a permanent home of care—by God’s leading alone.
2. GOD’S CALL – THE BEGINNING ON THE STREETS (GOA)
This mission began among the homeless, abandoned elderly, sick, and destitute on the streets of Goa.
This was not a planned project, but a direct response to God’s call—to serve those forgotten by society, following Christ’s example of mingling with the poor, the broken, and the rejected.
3. STREET-LEVEL COMPASSION MINISTRY
Daily ministry on the streets included:
Feeding hungry people
Providing clothes, bathing, grooming
Treating wounds and sickness
Taking patients to hospitals
Coordinating with police & social services
Reuniting people with families
Counseling, prayer, and Bible teaching
👉 The streets became a living mission field.
4. SPIRITUAL IMPACT OF THE STREET MINISTRY
Many homeless individuals personally requested:
Prayer and counseling
Confession and repentance
Bible studies
Baptism
This confirmed a powerful truth: Souls are ready everywhere—not only inside churches.
5. OPPOSITION AND TEST OF FAITH
Despite urgent humanitarian needs, the mission faced:
Social criticism
Lack of financial support
Pressure to stop helping the homeless
God strengthened the mission through His Word:
“Go out into the highways and hedges…” – Luke 14:23
This Scripture became the foundation stone of faith.
6. DECISION OF TOTAL SURRENDER
After prayer and deep conviction, the founder decided to:
Invest personal life savings
Dedicate family land
Establish a permanent care home
This step was taken without donors, relying fully on God’s provision alone.
7. GOD’S DIRECTION – MOVE TO THANJAVUR
God clearly opened doors in Thanjavur, confirming His plan to establish the same mission in a stable, permanent location.
Though there were plans to continue in Goa, God provided:
A village location
One campus near the city
👉 Thanjavur was chosen not by human planning, but by divine leading.
